New Website
A big thank-you to Robin Mulloy and his crew of technical wizards at Tomahawk Technologies in Carleton Place, we feel our new website will help us to keep our members and guests better informed. Please take a few moments to browse our site, I am sure you will be impressed, check out our GPS screen which gives you some great visuals of our holes.
Our website has 2 distinct divisions or sides. One side is our online tee time booking which connects with our tee sheet and point of sale system. This will allows members and public golfers to book tee times online. Members will be able to check their statements online. Once you have created an account in our tee time system when you book online you will be asked for your Account # and password. The password can be updated to reflect something that is easy for you to remember.
The other side of our Website is the web component part which includes the static side of the website. Our Website also offers online registration for upcoming member events and public events like our ladies league or Men’s league. In some cases our Charity Tournaments will use our website to process online registration and payment for their event. If you are going to use our online registration you also have to have a profile in the website component side of our site. In this situation once you have registered for an event once or created a profile you access this side by entering your email address and password. We suggest that you use the same password as the tee time side.
Outside Charity and Corporate events organizers will also have the capacity to manage their events through our website if so desired, this is a extremely powerful tool that is provide at no additional charge to events hosted at the Canadian. For more information please contact our Event Department at cgccevents@canadiangolfclub.com or by phone at 613-253-3290 ext 222
Our Online Pro Shop allows you to purchase gift certificates and golf merchandise from the ease of your home or office. Free ground transportation or mail services is included with each purchase.

Highway 7 expansion to 4 lanes
The landscape on your drive to the course continues to change, the first phase of the 4 lane highway is now open from the 417 to just East of the golf course. If you are coming from Stittsville you will be using the new clover leaf at Hazeldean road to access highway 7. The speed limits are still a below normally posted speed limits.
A very frequently asked question is how will I get into the golf course? The existing two lane road from Dwyer Hill Road to just east of the golf course is going to remain as access road. The new highway will swing slightly to north as it approaches the east side of the the golf course and 4 new lanes will be constructed. Golfers will be able to exit at the Dwyer Hill overpass and come back on the service road. Golfers will also be able to get off on Hazeldean road and come up the service road to Jinkson Road and continue on to the golf course but the approval for service road extension from Jinkinson Road to the East side of the golf course has been "bumped"up to the OMB and we do not know when an decision will be made

Golf Course Improvements / Driving Range Expansion
New for 2008 will be new tee decks on 8 West, 9 West and 10 West which will add more teeing deck on all three holes and about 200yds to the yardage of the course. Construction will not effect existing tee decks and will open when ready around the end of July
Check out Golf Course Architect Steven Ward's plan for our New Driving Range. Construction is starting slowly as permits and approvals arrive. We hope to install the culvert this year that will cross the driving range about 175 yds out from the edge of the parking lot. You will also notice some new fill off the west side of the parking lot, We are anticipating the requirement of 3000 loads of fill to meet Mr. Ward's contouring plan, so you may see a fair amount of truck traffic this season. It would be greatly appreciated if could help us out by making sure you are hitting the appropriate club to keep the range balls in play and allow the staff to easily pick the balls. Golf balls that are in the trees over the trees or in areas under construction have to be pick by hand which is very expensive, we thank you for your understanding.
