Our beloved Tristan Munch has been diagnosed with a devastating illness, Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (vEDS), and has been hospitalized for over a year. This heartbreaking diagnosis has deeply impacted not only Tristan, but his entire family. 

Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (vEDS) is a rare, inherited connective tissue disorder that makes blood vessels and internal organs extremely fragile. It can lead to life-threatening complications, including aneurysms, arterial dissections or ruptures, and organ rupture—most commonly affecting the bowel. 

Over the past six months, Tristan has required ongoing care at SickKids and Toronto General Hospital. During this time, the Munch family has been traveling back and forth to Toronto while caring for Tristan and his sisters. As a result, they have been unable to work while remaining by his side and supporting their children through this incredibly difficult journey. 

We are raising funds to support the Munch family—a family that has touched so many lives in our community. Your support will help ease the financial burden they are facing so they can focus entirely on Tristan’s care and their family’s well-being.
