Ready to take the next step? Here we go!
Step 1... Get introduced to the game.
Any sport can be intimidating the first time we are introduced it. To overcome that, we'd suggest setting up an appointment with one of our golf professionals. We have several programs available to those looking to take up the game. We offer private, semi-private (you and a friend), and group clinics (like our Get Golf Ready program). Any of these programs are the best way to get started as our pros can answer questions, provide instruction and ease you successfully into the game? You don't even need golf clubs to get started - we'll provide them for free! Just comfortable shoes and smile, that's all you need to get started. Step 2... Practice makes almost perfect
So now you've take some instruction with our pros to get you started and a little more familiar with the game. The next step is to get out and practice. Practice is fun - and it come in many forms. We suggest coming out to the course and hitting shots on the range, doing some chipping and putting, and even playing a few holes.
If you are ready, you can even considering getting your own set of golf clubs, which are pros can provide advice on, and help you to find something that is right for you and fits your budget. The most important part of this step, is to have fun! Just come on out and whack the ball, play a few holes and get more familiar with the game. Our pros are happy to step out and makes sure you are on the right track, or answer any questions you might have!
Step 3... Play, play and play some more!
Now it's time to become a golfer! How do you do that? Really simple, get out and play! That's all you have to do! Play 9 holes to start, and when you ready, head on to 18 holes. As you start to play more, you'll probably have a few more questions - reach out to our pros for answers or further instruction. Invite friends, take you grandkids out for a few holes. Take advantage of all golf has to offer like spending time outdoors with friends and loved ones, burn calories, stay active and enjoy this great game for years to come!
